Electrical work in Haute-Savoie
Old installations made safe, switchboards brought up to standard, lighting designed for the room, and faults found quickly.
Electrical work is the part of a renovation that is never visible once finished, and the part that decides whether the house is safe. In older Alpine buildings we regularly find two-wire circuits without earth, fabric-insulated cable, and switchboards extended one breaker at a time. None of that is visible to a buyer or a tenant, and all of it has to be dealt with before adding a kitchen or a bathroom.
We work on complete installations as well as targeted repairs: a circuit that trips, a socket that must be moved, a light that needs a proper plan. Every intervention ends with a test of the circuits concerned, and with a written note of what was done and what remains outside the standard.
Work is carried out according to NF C 15-100. Where a certificate is required, it is issued by the qualified body, not by us.

Sallanches, Megève, Combloux, Chamonix and the Arve valley.

Questions
Questions about this service
My switchboard trips as soon as I use the oven. What is happening?
Most often the oven shares a circuit that was never sized for it, or the differential device is at the end of its life. Both are diagnosed in one visit. Replacing the breaker without checking the circuit only postpones the problem.
Do you provide a certificate of compliance?
For a complete installation, the certificate is issued by an accredited inspection body after the work. We prepare the installation for that inspection and tell you at quoting stage whether it is required for your project.
Can you work in an occupied flat?
Yes. Cuts are planned and announced the day before, kept short, and the supply is restored each evening. Dust protection and a clean site at the end of each day are part of the job.
